First saw Andrew supporting The Christians at The Hippodrome in Birmingham. I was there to see Roachford and I can remember you were pretty hacked off, as was I, at the half full, barely attentive audience! Seen you headline a couple of times way back but not in years so really looking forward to the gig in Birmingham tomorrow. Looking on YouTube I didn't like Imagine at all. Andrew, you will not have time to play everything of your own brilliant catalogue so you don't need to do it, leave it, we'd rather hear your stuff, and I'm hoping for Nothing Free. I also saw a comment that you have a song for every moment in a life, and that's been very true for me, through good and bad times, Roachford has been there. So I'll be there for you in brum with me mate Phil, so come on, come on, lay your love on me.

Spied a very small poster as I drove past the Uni today so just ordered my tickets for Academy 3 - fantastic small venue. Think I first saw Roachford at Hudds Poly in 1988/89. Tried to keep up to date but lost touch after 'Heart of the Matter'. Really looking forward to the gig - masterful musicians ! Permanent Shade of Blue and Feel will always be in my top 10 albums. Not bad for an ageing indie fan !

Hi Stephen, Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the reply Stephen. That sounds fantastic, i'll make sure we're downstairs this time then. I was just looking through all my Roachford albums, man there are so many great tracks. I'd hate to choose a set list, it would be about 5 hrs long. Would love it if Andrew could play 'HEART OF THE MATTER' from that album &'RIVER OF LOVE' from Word of Mouth as well as the classics. only a suggestion guys, we'll love any set you choose. take care, see you at The Brook Gary

I managed to catch the shows at Birmingham and Bristol. Have to say, Bristol is as good a gig as I can remember in the 20+ years of seeing you play. Thanks for signing the towel (thanks Stephen for organising) and best of luck with the rest of the tour.
Looking forward to the new CD.

Fantastic gig in Brum last night, thanks so much. Exceeded all expectations and that's saying something.

Also thanks for signing my Roachford T-shirt ive had since 1991.
Good luck with the new album "Addictive" when it comes out and hope to see you soon.
Respect
Paul and Karen Dunnill
Seated shows are not Andrew's first choice but it was good to see people rocking in their seats and then to see people getting up and dancing was even better........!!!
Thanks to all of you that came to the Manchester show, it was great to hear such a verbal Audience.....
Andrew, I think you must have lived my life because your music has so much in common with my past relationships. You definately dont get the recognition you deserve and I cant wait for your new album 'Addictive'- Another great perfomance in Manchester, please dont leave it too long to come back - Ronnie, Manchester
Two days later and sat at my desk still jiggin, to the memory of Mondays gig in Manchester....What a superstar, performances get better each time you see Andy play, the music is timelss....Andy doesnt get the recognition he deseves a superb singer/songwriter/performer.....dont leave it so long till youre back in Manchester Andy..Cheers

ANDREW AND THE BAND WERE AWSOME IN MANCHESTER,IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AND IT WAS AMAZING, I'VE BEEN TO TOP PERFORMERS CONCERT'S BEFORE- NONE PERFORMED LIKE ROACHFORD-THE BEST BY FAR.
My wife Karen and i are coming to Birmingham to see Andrew, Im looking forward to seeing you. The first time i saw Roachford was in Manchester in 1989 and ive followed you all over England.
Good luck and see ya tonight
Well we are just back form our 300 mile round trip from Newcastle to Glasgow for last nights gig at the ABC.
Andrew, thank you so much for a top night! First time my wife has seen you live and we both loved the show, new stuff sounds great and the old stuff.... well its all great!!
90 minutes of great music and entertainment. See you next time round, which wont be too long we hope and it would be gret to see you back in Necastle, or The sage in Gateshead.
Enjoy the rest of the tour and if your going to see the show.... ENJOY!!
Cheers and all the best Graham & Caz
Why no newcastle shiws? :-(

For all the people that came to the ABC 2 in Glasgow, hope you enjoyed the show.

I've been remiss i feel,it's been 2 years since i've seen you live..(yeah i'm ashamed!) was at the spitz and the house was jumping yay! however this will be rectified in november and i can't wait!
I shall resist giving any requests, truth is i know it'll all be great-"how do you know" i hear you ask (well i hope it's you and not my imaginary friends...again) because of talent, warmth, songs that only our gods could write, did i mention talent?
p.s.whoever came up with this forum giving me a chance to say these few words...Thank you
Tickets booked, transport arranged, Hotel sorted, baby sitter sorted . . . For the night for the litle fellas first night without his mam & dad, giant step for his mum!! We carnt wait for Sunday 25th When Glasgow comes to life, Never mind the fire works in London on the 25th and oh dear, we carnt get a sitter for the night!! ok so its time to stop having a go at them who just like to moan!!
Have a great gig Andrew, we are so looking forward to the firwork display at the ABC!!
What time are you on stage, dont want to miss a drop of the magic... Remember, stop by at Newcastle next time, we have got electricty now you know!! ;-)
Hi Andrew
It's been too long again and really looking forward to the gigs. I'll make the last three but can't get back home to Scotland for the ABC show. I'd like to hear Shotgun live again but maybe not as popular these days.
Thanks again for the mention at the Spitz.
Oh my god, the master of the live performance is coming back to The Brook. I have never been let down by a Roachford show. Always high energy, always very entertaining and the best musicianship money can buy. I will look forward to your up lifting show. Cosmic.
cant wait to see andrew again up here in glasgow.ive never missed a gig since i first seen him at king tuts in 94.his live shows still stand head and shoulders above anything else ive ever seen!heres for a good night.whats big derek up to these days?
Come to Ireland plz
We cant wait to see Andrew on tour again and have decided to see him in Brighton and Southampton 2 consecutive nights as we live on the Isle of Wight and want to make the most of a mini break away.
Im happy to say that i received 2 tickets for the glasgow gig as a 40th birthday present today.
I can't wait - last time was at the barrowland when the gig was delayed because some show called top of the pops wanted uz on - it was worth the wait.
Lots of happy memories and Perment shades of blue refuses to leave my top 10 fav albums.
Can't wait... ;-)
Would love it if Andrew could play 'HEART OF THE MATTER' from that album &'RIVER OF LOVE' from Word of Mouth as well as the classics. only a suggestion guys, we'll love any set you choose.
take care, see you at The Brook
Gary
ROACHFORDS TOP DRAW.
Hey Andrew, great to see your touring. Hopefully get to Bruistol to see you but its about time you came to Plymouth....SOON.
First saw you and the guys stepping in for the Pasadenas who where supporting Wet Wet Wet at the Cornwall Coliseum..blew us away. From then it was off to Bristol Bier Keller a couple years later (*although we only saw you do the last encore as we got caught in Bank Holiday traffic. Finally we were guests of Columbia Recors at the Exeter Cavern gig a few days later. Gotta be 1987ish?
Maybe come and play a charity gig ....
Brian
IT'S JUST THE WAY THAT I FEEL.
The Brook is a great gig! The stage is a bit high, so I may get Andrew to perform one of the songs off stage in the crowd. Lets see if he is brave enough.......Thanks for stopping by Gary...
The Paradiso was a great gig with a very good crowd.... The Glee culb will be a very good show! See you there Kaid!
Looking forward to seeing you Phil
Hi Andrew,
Hope you're well man ?

cheers
Gary
Hi Andrew, saw you at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.. opening for Marc Broussard.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Glee club in Birmingham UK!
Great I got tickets for Jazz Cafe can`t wait. Andrew you were great at Stratford last year a brilliant performer.
See you there Phil
Thanks Graham, we have to come to newcastle at least on the next tour and give you a break from driving.....
Hi Kevin, Yes Cardiff. We will be playing Cardiff on the 1st November at the Barfly...I will add the date as soon as I get the info...
Hi JD, A great title for a song all the best...
Hi Shaun, we will try and get down to Devon on the next tour.....
Hi Lisa, we are coming to Glasgow, doesn't that count as Scotland?
Hey John, Glad to hear that you are coming to Manchester. It will be room 3 and not room 2 as there was a booking problem but as you may know it is still in the same building. I will pass on your request for "Naked" to Andrew.....
Hi Andy, I can understand that 5th November isn't a great night for everyone. The dates at the Jazz Cafe are hard to get as they get book up so far in advance. I will look into seeing if there is something that can be added...
Hi Craig, not sure why there are no gigs near newcastle. I will ask our booking agent and get back to you...
Hey Kieran, thanks for your post. What can be said about someone travelling to two shows, a true fan! See you there....
Great to see a tour anounced and shame on those people asking you to move a gig as its on bonfire night! If your a fan your there no questions asked.
I would love to see you come back to Newcastle and would even arange the venue, untill then I will simply get in the car, drive have a night out and a great gig, oh and I wont be asking you to move your dates so that it suits what night the baby sitter goes to bingo!
Enjoy the tour, we will, see you somewhere, but we will be there.
How about Cardiff.
Saw you supporting M people there around 9 years ago.
Cheers.
l,m ADDICTED!!!!,can,t wait!
No dates in Devon/Cornwall :-(
Come up to Scotland!!! We would love to see you. Keeping our fingers crossed.
Over the moon Andrew, me and the wife Donna will be there even if it was Christmas day, can't wait for the new album to play it to death. ps please sing your greatest Naked without you.
London gig at the Jazz Cafe on 5th Nov - BONFIRE NIGHT! How are us 40 somethings supposed to get to the gig on this night? The kids will have us and i expect that goes for everyone. Any chance of moving it to the weekend or another date?
Yours grovellingly.
Why no gigs near Newcastle???
Im coming to the Brighton and Birmingham shows, cant wait to see Roachford havent seen them since them for years!!!
